Ciryl Gane
Fighting out of the MMA Factory in Paris, Ciryl Gane is the current UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion. Since his 2019 debut in the world’s leading MMA organisation he has cleared out the heavyweight division with an immaculate display of accuracy, athleticism, and incredible Fight IQ.
Coming from an athletic family, Gane played football and basketball in his youth, and showed promise in both sports. He was a latecomer to martial arts however, only discovering Muay Thai after finishing high school. After just two years of training, he made his professional debut in 2016, and would enjoy an undefeated career and two French championship titles.
During that time, he met current coach Fernand Lopez, who saw potential in the 6’4”, 112kg fighter, and convinced him to compete in MMA. Under Lopez, he debuted in the Canadian Organisation TKO in 2018, and in just three fights, soon caught the attention of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Since joining UFC in 2019, Gane has risen through the ranks at pace, overcoming every challenge that has been thrown at him, and using the vast array of skills at his disposal to get the win each time. On August 8th2021 at UFC 265, he defeated heavy-hitter Derrick Lewis in typical clinical fashion to win the Interim Heavyweight title, winning Performance of the Night.
In his time with UFC, Gane has adopted the tagline ‘Anyone, Anywhere’. We’re proud to be able to support him in his training and preparation, so that no matter the place, no matter the opponent, he can train safely, and is ready to go.
